The Life of a Corperate Dog Trainer

I've decided I don't fucking care what DAVID (teh Asshole DM) does to me. If the new rules for training sales become too much of a hassel then I'll quit. I don't need that job. I have enough money that I can afford to spend some time looking for a job at a nice mom and pop doggy daycare. If they're nice to me I MIGHT finish out my current classes and not leave them in the lurch. But that's it.

I tried explaining this new perspective to one of the other trainers, who is utterly freaked out by DAVID Teh Asshole's new rulez, and it was like she couldn't hear me.

Co-Worker: It's impossible, not even the best stores in the district can make those kinds of sales! I would like to shake the hand of any trainer who can!

Me: He's setting us up for failure, but that's not really my problem.

Co-Worker: If you don't make those standards he'll bump you down to part time and out of training!

Me: Oh, if that happens I'll quit.

Co-Worker: *froathing at the mouth* He'll destroy our careers! He's asking the impossible!

Me: And he'll lose trainers until he figures out he's fucking up, _and I don't care enough about this job to stay if it becomes a hassle_.

Co-Worker: You won't be a Pet Trainer!

Me: Are you even listening to me? Of course I won't be, I'll quit if he tries hold me to impossible standards. I like birds better then dogs anyways.

THere was more, stuff about "how he's out for blood" and "he doesn't want any full time employees" which while true are not, exactly, all that new to Corperate America. But Ms. Negativity, despite being a WONDERFUL dog trainer, couldn't seem to LET GO of that. Just let go lady. Find a job working at Mom and Pop doggy daycare until you can afford to start your own. Ok? Just don't be all negative at me. I. Don't. Care. what a fucker David is. If he bothers me too much he's going to have to hire a new trainer.

For that matter, if Ms. Negativity bothers me too much I might find a new job elsewhere, talk about looking for a dark lining to every clear summer sky.
