Ta da!
I'm currently reading _The Outstretched Shadow_ by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory. It's pretty good, although the villains are a bit one-dimensional. Well, more then a bit actually, as far as I can tell they have no redeaming characteristics whatsoever. The hero is actually pretty good, he reminds me very strongly of my Cousin David, who's about the same age. Interesting. I was a bit worried about the unicorn, Misty said she was getting away from 'pretty white horses' (Companions) for awhile, and here's this new book by her that has a *unicorn* on the cover. Fortunately for my sanity Shalkan is nothing like a Companion. Sometime I want to smack him.
Other stuff: Well, I've got to get my journal address out too people. I'm still trying to figure out this site. Nothing really special is going on, although I do need to correct my math test if I want to get a D in the class, rather then failing. I've never passed a math class on the first try anyways. Oh well. And since this is college and not High School that means I have to PAY for the damn thing. $300 right down the toilet. Phooy.
