House cleaning.

Well, the Internet is out at my apartment again (I guess my neighbors decided to not pay the bills or something, lol) so I'm posting from Barnes and Noble. It's amazing the sorts of things I do when there's no internet, like cleaning my apartment for the first time in a year (I am NOT KIDDING). It has seriously taken me from Saturday, after I finished all my extern hours, to today to shovel out my place. Did I say it was bad? It was bad. Let me put it this way, the cleanest area was around my pets' cages. Which I clean about three times a week, if that. (I'm a bad pet owner, I know)

Anyways, I'm down to reorganizing my closets and cleaning the inside of my windows (the outside is my apartment complex's job since I'm on a second floor with no balcony, but they haven't done that in the year and a half I've lived here). If I see a cockroach after this I will flip the fuck out.

I'm not sure why I'm such a bad housekeeper, but I guess it might be genetic. Dad's kinda like this, although he's getting better about keeping the garage and rock-shed (he's a rockhound) neat. Mom's totally NOT like this at all, so I know I didn't get it from her. My sister? about as bad as I am only without pets (well, she has a cat) thrown into the mix. In fact, she's so much like me when it comes to poor housekeeping that that is the main reason I suspect it's genetic.


So, for now, everything is fairly clean an neat. We'll see how long that lasts. I'm betting a month.

I hate housework. HATE HATE HATE. Since we've moved into our house, though, I've been better at staying on top of it. Bleargh.

lol, my icon, when I posted, didn't show anything other then my boobies. I guess ElJay was being whacky again.

What really inspired me was my parent's former renters who fled in the middle of the night from their creditors who basically trashed that house. I don't want to be That Renter.

Yes Dear Sister, I do actually have a nice rack. The love handles tend to diminish the overall effect, though.
