AX PART 1

Not that I have any idea if there's going to be a Part Two through Four. No, AX hasn't officially started yet, it's still (barely) Wednesday. I'm sleeping in 'town' that's basically a truck stop near a feedlot. I can't see the feedlot, but given that EVERYTHING STINKS LIKE MANURE I'm fairly sure that it's somewhere in the vicinity. GAH.

Yesterday I stopped at Wildlife Safari and did the whole Safari thing, drove through the park and totally failed to see any of their famous cheetahs (apparently they like to hide during breeding season). Well, okay, they did have one that was in an enclosure in the visitor center. He was pretty cool. And they have NENE! I spent six months three years ago hosing nene pens in Maui! God I... don't miss those birds to be honest. (Nene are Hawaiian Geese, they look like a small Canada goose, basically)

Tomorrow I'm going to meet Terrible_T, and then I might have something more interesting to post about.
