Ima new mommy!

He's six weeks old, about a foot long, and has pretty, glossy scales. I got him at the Reptile Expo yesterday in Wilsonville. He's a pastel ball python, and he is just the most gosh darn cutest thing in the world. I probably don't need another pet (I've got six birds, and iguana, a chameleon, two plated lizards, a hamster, and beta fish, yes folks, this is what I do with my life outside of fandom), but I couldn't resist. Plus snakes are dead easy and cheap to house if you don't want to get fancy. Currently he is residing in a plastic shoe box bought for all of two dollars, a heat pad at one end, a moist hide and bowl. When he gets bigger I'll upgrade to a larger plastic box.

I don't know what to name him. I am seriously tempted to call him Monty, but just about every other ball python in existence is named Monty so I have been able to resist temptation. Maybe I should name him after one of the Pythons? Ideas would be appreciated.
