Anyways, we're on our last week of Radiology and I've just finished nearly all my chapter quizes and my entire lab book. I STILL can't tell the difference between buccal and lingual side amalgams on an x-ray. I know when the PID moves lingual side moves with it, while buccal side moves against it, BUT I CAN'T SEE THE DIFFERENCE ON THE X-RAY. It's like, a little tiny difference between the films, so small I can't really see it. So I'm pretty much going FAIL charting. I FINALLY just started doing the 'when in doubt, chart on the buccal/facial side' rule, as well as guessing (let's see, since these are anterior but I'm seeing amalgam I'm guessing that's on the lingual side, amirite?)
Anyways, I got an 85% on the RHS mock-exam, I have to have a 90% to pass the class. My first live patient full mouth series was not DANB admissible, so I'm hoping and praying my second one is because I do not want to go out on externship without getting my license (I'd still be able to take x-rays because I would still be a student, thank god, but it's a pain in the ass). I finished my bite-wings, occlusials, and digital bite-wings today so that's good. So now all I need to do is turn in the rest of my vocab, including the DANB vocab, finish those two quizes I had somehow forgotten to do, pass the RHS with 90% or better, and take my second set of live patient x-rays. Oh, and do my final clinical exam. Not much, in other words.
I've got three days left in this term. WILL I MAKE IT?

Also, while not as hot as it was this weekend, IT IS STILL FUCKING HOT! If it's 85 outside it's 95 in my apartment. I have my airconditioner going full blast but it's undersized for my apartment and has to compete with my reptile lights. I do NOT want to see what my electricity bill's going to be this month. *whimper*
PS Parental Unit? Since I now know your read my journal, after much arm-twisting on my part, I am GIVING YOU GUYS EXPRESS PERMISSION TO POST! I even have anonymous commenting turned on, although I do log IPs. Especially my stories because I am a total review whore.
