Writing Machine Refuge

Yeah. In the series I got the impression that she really wanted him to respect her as a partner... and at first he doesn't even try, leaves her behind on missions, says cutting things about her lack of control over her powers, etc. So she feels she has to fight for it... For awhile she's gained, although I don't know if she knows it. They act as partners and Amon trusts her judgement. She starts to become afriad of him after the Hunt at the warehouse, when he refuses to 'believe' that she was shot at. It really isn't until he saves her from the raid that she realizes just how much he really does trust and respect her. And then he was missing so she was scared for him. Later he shows up, but doesn't do anything to help her, just acts mysterious, which leads back to a bit of that fear of him. She decides to trust him anyways, not so much that he wouldn't kill her, but that if he decided to kill her it would be the right thing to do (which is a scary type of power to put into someone else's hands). Adding hormones to the mix makes it that much more interesting.
