More on the pet front
Sep. 16th, 2007 08:18 pmMr. Fezywig, my hamster, is now off in the Great Wheel in the Sky. His corporeal remains have been interned along with his cage in the dumpster. He lived to be three years old (one year longer than average)and is survived by altogether too may other critters in my apartment.
My overall reaction? One less cage to clean. Yay.
In other news, I switched from feeding prekilled rat pinkies to Ichigo, to feeding prekilled mouse jumpers. I warmed the food up a bit, held it in front of his nose, and he struck right away! I tugged it a couple times to make him think it was alive. He constricted it for a half and hour, and then lost interest and slithered off. I'm going to leave it in there for a couple more hours, and if he hasn't eat it I'll take it out and try again in a couple days. If he hasn't eaten by Wednesday I'm going to have to get another live hopper.
I drank half a bottle of sake last night and wrote some pretty cracked out stuff, don't know I can finish it without getting drunk again, alas.
