Tonight I came home and plopped myself down in front of the computer. I had had a trying day with a fanatical cult of Kirby salesmen who would not leave my house until I ran away. A nice man was at a neighborhood that one of my rental houses is at, offering to shampoo a room's rug for free. Since my professional cleaner did not do a perfect job, I thought what a deal. A rug cleaning company was trying to drum up business and so I decided to try their services. After he started, he said that he was not a rug cleaner but a Kirby saleman! I felt so foolish as I always turn away vacumm sales person and he was on his knees cleaning and would not leave even I had prospective tenants examining the house. I literally drove off with this man still in my empty house. And after I fled I realized that I had not requested his business card so I could give it to the police in case he vandalized the property. I came back later and everything was ok.
I come home, ate some dinner in front of the computer when I hear some whining at the front door. And a fussing and milling about. After about 10 minutes I gave ignoring the fuss and got up and realized the door was partially open with Cody and Bristol anxiously begging for permission to come and visit. I can only assume that they opened the door. These dogs about 70 pounds a piece and very sweet. I let them in and offered them some dog biscuts making them 'sit' before the treat. Bristol is about 1 year old and therefore has not learned patience. But she no longer pees on the floor which is an improvement. My sock used to get wet everytime.
A dog story. True. This is what happens when we put in lever handles.
