SO, the cold is getting better. I'm not nearly as zonked out today as I was yesterday, which meant that I was fully aware while stripping the old insulation from my parents' new house. Insulation which, I might add, had about 60 years worth of rat poop in it. Falling onto my hair (as well as the rest of me) At least the house in question hasn't been lived in in over a year and the rats were long gone due to no food. Still, joy. If I get the Hantavirus I know who to blame.

The insulation was interesting, the stuff they used in the 40s was made of paper, not fiberglass, so you don't have problems with the glass sticking to you and getting in your skin. On the other hand, you do have problems with fire, so, yeah. Good thing we're taking that out. We probably hauled out about 12 garbage bags of that stuff out of the crawlspace, and there's still more to go.

I could go more into stuff about the house, but I won't because that would be boring. I'm just glad that I'm getting tomorrow off. And I'm glad that I have beer.
