platedlizardTen things I hate about my parents new rental house.
10. The three feral cats the previous tenant fed.
9. Fleas from said cats.
8. The cat urine soaked back porch.
7. Fleas.
6. The fact that said previous tenant never threw out anything, and neglected to take her trash with her when she moved out.
5. The fleabites covering my body.
4. The bathroom. Mom knows what I mean.
3. The fact that we have to fleabomb the house for a second time.
2. It looks like my grandmother's old house, making me wonder what the hell Dad was thinking when he bought the place.
1. DID I MENTION THE FUCKING FLEAS?!
Anyways, we finally got a live-trap and will hopefully be delivering Feral #1 to the pound tomorrow, where no doubt it will be put down due to being completely wild. I hate that. I really do. But those cats have destroyed the porch (no joke, the urine has soaked into the flooring far beyond anything Nature's Miracle can cure and will need to be replaced). They aren't neutered, and without Mrs. Smith there to feed them they have been starving. So really, putting them down would be merciful. And then I get to spread several bags of pesticides around the house to kill the fleas in the yard.
Pity me.
