And Democrats take the Senate
Nov. 10th, 2006 04:40 amI supose everyone else has posted about this already. But it looks like we have the Senate, unless Lieberman decides to defect.
Oh, and apparently Rush admitted to lying to his listeners, or something. I'm not really sure, I've been listening to Progressive Talk Radio and I always take what they say with a big grain of salt.
I've been fucking around with my copy of Word. Since I finally have a computer that is easy to type on (a VAIO TX that weighs, I'm not kidding, 2 pounds. Battery life of, like five and a half hours, I love this thing) I've started writing agian, and I'm not letting myself use exuses like "I'll write just as soon as I'm done surfing". Today I managed to write about a thousand words. I might do more later tonight. Word's got so many different features, the version installed on this thing is much more advanced then the version that was on my old Dell, or maybe I'm just learning it better. Then one thing I don't like about it is that There's this horizontal line (I have no idea what it is, really) that divides my text, and it bugs the hell out of me because I can't make it go away. I can't highlight it, and deleting the text around it just makes it go to the bottom of the next paragraph. I managed to move it to a spot in the text where it doesn't annoy me, but I would still love to figure out a way to make it go away. I think I need Word for Dummies.
