Apparently Blizzard is trying to become Facebook. They're going to make you use your real name to post in their forums. Too bad if you're a woman or trans I guess, now everyone will know it and all the creeps out there will harass you until the end of time.

Also, there are a lot of companies who will not hire you if they think you play WoW.

I'm so glad I didn't renew my account after the trial period expired.

The shit has hit the fan bigtime. The forums are exploding, and accounts are being cancelled all over the place.

My cancellation is in progress. Oh well, at least I got to kill the Lich King on 10-man strict a couple weeks ago. :) I was really, really, really looking forward to Diablo 3, but now I just don't know.

It really disapointing. Apparently this is coming from Activision, which is no surprise.

I hope they back off on this.
