ZOMG STEVEN BRUST WRITES FANFIC!!!1!

Brust is one of my top three authors, right behind Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, and he's their equal in mad writing skillz, although not, sadly, comerical success (he does well enough for an author, but not well well). Apparently he also writes fanfic for FireFly.
How cool is that?
By the way, there are excerpts from his published works on that site, so if you aren't familiar with him check them out. You may have a new favorite author.
Orientation at Concord was today. It took an hour longer then a I thought, but no biggie (for me). Parking In The Right Place is very important, apparently. About five different people brought up Parking. Apparently people get towed quite a bit for parking in the wrong spot. They told us that will with have between 2-4 hours of homework every night, on top of the four hours of classes we take every day, so I'm probably going to be curtailing my internet usage for a while. It's either that or give up the gym, and the gym keeps me from getting too stressed out. I'm taking the 8am-12pm class, and since the campus is across town (I'm in Tigard, Concord's out by the Lloyd Center in Portland) I've got to give myself A Lot Of Time to get over there, since I'll be heading into Portland during morning rush hour. I'm going to leave at 7am tomorrow and see how long it takes me to get there. I'd rather be early then late.
