Last night was hell.
Feb. 8th, 2008 08:23 pmSooo, my sleep issues are back, and last night was weird. The night before I had trouble getting to sleep and got about four hours. Went to the gym yesterday after school and was only able to run for about fifteen minutes, usually I can do about 40 minutes on the treadmill so my endurance really took a hit from the lack of sleep. Went to bed with plenty of time to rest feeling very tired, and laid awake for about seven hours, heart pounding and hands shaking, feeling like shit. I think I got about a half an hours worth of sleep and had an extremely vivid dream featuring Ichigo from
akuni's story, Covenant. I think I basically had Renji's dream in chapter 30. It morphed in to me laying on someone undead, like a vampire or zombie. But not the sexy kind of vampire. The person I was laying on was rotten and swishy, and had their arms wrapped around me with their nails digging into the backs of my hands. I managed to force myself further awake and realized the squishiness was my foam mattress and the fingernails digging into the back of my hands were my own. Very weird.
Part of the reason for my anxiety was me getting up in the middle of the night to take a piss, and discovering that SPARKS WERE SHOWERING FROM THE HEATER IN MY BATHROOM. A heater I keep TURNED OFF because it is the freakiest thing ever. I even shocked myself trying to figure out what the problem was with it, and finally threw the circuit-breaker for the heater to keep from burning to death in my own bed. I HATE THIS APARTMENT!!! I'm pretty sure this is why I wasn't able to fall asleep eventually like I usually can. I was going to talk to my apartment manager about this after school, but I was so tired when I got home I threw some seed in the general direction of the birds and went to sleep. Oh well.
The good news is that I finally convinced my sister to get a two bedroom with me. But NOT at this complex. Since I am going to Concord in Portland and she works in downtown we're going to try to get a place on the east side of the river, since that's cheaper then downtown.
