I've decided that my python's name is Ichigo. Because he's yellow/orange and black (actually, it's more like Very Dark Brown stripes, but whatever). It reminds me a bit of Ichigo's shinigami coloring in Bleach. We'll have wait and see if it sticks.
The breeder was feeding him live mice hoppers, but I want to feed him pre-killed, it's safer and more convenient. Right now I left him with a thawed out rat pinky, if he eats it we're good to go. If not I'll pull it out, refreeze it (the reptile store guy says you can refreeze once), and try again next week. If he won't eat then I'll have to feed him a live rat pinky or mouse hopper, then try with the pre-killed again a week later. Good thing I'm not squeamish.
Have I mentioned just how very cute he is? He's very cute.
