Dear Lord,
Thank You for this blessing. Thank You for this unprotected linkeys network, accessible from my own fucking apartment. In Your Most Holy Name, may there be Epic Win on this series of tubes.
Amen,
A Former Atheist (for as long as I remain un-IP banned)

Generally when I'm posting, like now, I'm at a Barnes and Noble, using the dealio they have with AT&T 'cause paying $19.99 a month for high speed is a heck of a lot better then paying whatever it is to have in-home high speed. (needless to say, they know me quite well over here) At my apartment I don't even have dialup, I totally live through my little tiny Sony Vaio and my cell phone. Last night a miracle occurred just before I went to bed, I flipped open my Vaio and found it automatically connecting to someone's high speed network, which had been left unprotected. Awesome! I thought, and made that post. Alas, minutes later I was banned from the network (made the mistake of going to Scans_daily, I think), which means that I'm back to being an atheist.
I was also a little drunk last night, too. Heh.
EDIT: "this series of tubes" refers to Senator Ted Stevens, who, despite clearly knowing absolutely nothing about Teh Internets still had to make some sort of Important Statement on the Senate Floor. He famously described the internet as a "series of tubes". (This is actually a better description then the "Information Super-Highway" IMO) You can probably find it on Youtube.
are you certain that what you are doing is ethical?
