He's still got (hopefully more than) a few good books in him, but this really sucks. Nothing like finding out one of the best authors in the world, who's ongoing Discworld series (36 books and counting) has yet to jump the shark (seriously, each one is better than the last, and how many authors can say that?) is going to lose everything, brain first.

That sounded really selfish, didn't it? Fuck. I really don't know how to say it any better.
